An entity in level 2. We don't know what entity this is.

Level 2 is the 3rd Level of the Backrooms. It is the last level that you can start from.

Description

Most of Level 2 is dark, grey, concrete maintenance tunnels, it is millions of miles wide. The walls of this level have pipes and they can also sometimes have vents, the pipes have a thick and slimey liquid in them. It is possible to find doors, but most of them are locked or lead nowhere. The rooms usually have random objects in them and can sometimes have computers too.

In some parts of Level 2, the temperature can be very hot, it can get up to 43°C. This is usually in areas where the sounds of the machines are very loud, normally at the end of long hallways.

The Entities on this Level are some of the most dangerous in The Backrooms. You can hear noises from the vents, which are caused by Crawlers. You can also find Mark in employee bathrooms on Level 2. Other entities here are Smilers, Child Facelings, Clumps, Hounds, Male Deathmoths, Wretches, Plague Goblins, Bursters, and Skin-Stealers. The only thing you need to do when you see one is run. We don't know what the entity in the picture is, we haven't found the person who took the photo.

Ways in and Ways out

Ways in

Level 2 is one of the only Levels in the Backrooms that you can get in from real life. You find Level 2 by exploring for a long time in Level 1. You can also get in from The Hub.

Ways out

Not all of the doors on Level 2 are locked, or lead nowhere. Some doors lead into Level 3, Level 4, and sometimes back to Level 1. Finding a weirdly sized rainbow door that is unlocked will let you go into Level 283. If you no-clip into a very hot area in Level 2, you can go in Level 2.1.
